Ethiopia Natural represents the pinnacle of specialty coffee craftsmanship. Sourced from smallholder farmers in the renowned Sidama zone, this medium-light roast showcases indigenous heirloom cultivars grown at elevations of 1700–1900 meters in nutrient-rich Nitisol soils. The full natural process—meticulously hand-sorted and dried on raised beds—preserves the bean's inherent complexity, delivering a sophisticated cup with notes of milk chocolate, bright fruit, and subtle caramel sweetness.
Brewing Instructions For optimal flavor extraction, we recommend the following methods: Pour Over: Use a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio with water heated to 195–205°F. Grind medium-fine and brew for 3–4 minutes. French Press: Employ a 1:15 ratio with water at 200°F. Steep for 4 minutes, then plunge slowly. Espresso: Grind fine and pull a double shot at 9 bars of pressure for 25–30 seconds, targeting a 1:2 ratio. AeroPress: Use a 1:15 ratio with 200°F water. Total brew time should be approximately 2 minutes for a clean, nuanced extraction. For best results, grind immediately before brewing and use filtered water. Store beans in an airtight container away from light and heat to preserve freshness and complexity.
