Making a second chance count.
In 2010, Fred was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. His path forward depended on an unrelated bone marrow donor—a stranger in Germany whose decision to help gave Fred a second chance through a transplant at City of Hope.
More than fifteen years later, Fred founded Sonoran Roast Coffee And Tea in Arizona. What began with survival grew into a commitment to build something meaningful: a premium coffee and tea company shaped by gratitude and grounded in genuine human connection.
Sonoran Roast is focused first on delivering an exceptional customer experience and products worth returning to, while using its growing platform to help raise awareness of leukemia, blood cancers, and the life-changing importance of bone marrow and stem-cell donors.
