Every cup has a story. Ours began with a second chance at life.
In 2010, my life changed forever.
After being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), I faced one of the most difficult battles of my life. The months that followed were filled with treatments, uncertainty, and challenges I never expected to face.
Thankfully, through the generosity of an unrelated bone marrow donor, the dedication of my medical team, and the support of family and friends, I received a second chance at life.
That experience changed me.
When you've faced a life-threatening illness, you begin to see the world differently. You learn to appreciate the small moments, value relationships more deeply, and recognize that every day is a gift.
Years later, those lessons became the foundation of Sonoran Roast Coffee And Tea.
Why Coffee and Tea?
Coffee and tea have always been about more than beverages.
They bring people together. They start conversations. They create moments of comfort, connection, and reflection.
Whether it's your first cup of coffee before sunrise or a relaxing cup of tea at the end of a long day, these simple rituals have a way of making life a little better.
I wanted to build a company that delivered premium coffee and handcrafted tea while also sharing a meaningful story.

As an Arizona resident, I've always been inspired by the beauty and resilience of the Sonoran Desert.
The desert thrives in conditions that seem impossible. Its strength, perseverance, and rugged beauty remind me of the challenges many people face in life and the ability we all have to overcome them.
That's why our brand embraces the spirit of the Southwest in everything we do.
From our logo and product names to our commitment to quality, we strive to capture the warmth and authenticity of the region we proudly call home.

From the beginning, I knew Sonoran Roast Coffee And Tea needed to stand for something bigger than coffee.
Because leukemia touched my life so profoundly, giving back became a core part of our mission.
